All Xtra-Lucem boxes are M1F1 which allows their use in a closed environment (aircraft, submarine, armored vehicle).

To further reduce the mass of its VIB boxes, BRC can offer you Lucem Light frames (50% lighter than 15 / 10th aluminum frames). You may be offered other options to reduce the weight of the fittings. All solutions have been qualified by external laboratories in terms of falls, shocks, vibrations (STANAG 4370 standard) etc ...
